In early 2006, I was sent off to a conference in Kauai. I have exactly one photo of the conference, and lots of photos of the trip that followed. This gallery follows the rule of thumb that any trip to Hawaii must have at least one photograph of each sunset, one picture of each waterfall, and several pictures of waves breaking against the shore.
All photos taken on Kauai.
The road into a beach off Poipu bumps along dirt for a time before coming around a curve, where the view opens up to the hills. The road right there is covered with the tracks of people pulling off to take exactly this photo.
